Dance - Jazz Technique (8-12 yrs)

Description
Our jazz classes introduce dancers to jazz technique and stylistic choreography. Students will take terms and skills learned in ballet and discover how they are changed to show a sharper and edgier side to dance as well as explore new skills and vocabulary associated with jazz dance.
Suggested Jazz attire:
- Girls - black leotard, flesh tone tights, and flesh tone jazz shoes.
- Boys - solid color t-shirt, black pants, and black jazz shoes.
At our last class on May 21 parents are invited into class for the last 10 minutes to watch a short performance.
April 30 is Theme Week: Bring a friend to class!
NO Class on April 2.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: A full refund will be issued when a program is cancelled by the Recreation Department. Cancellations made after registering and prior to the start date of an activity will have a $5.00 administrative charge deducted from your refund. Refunds or credits will not be issued if you cancel out of an activity less than five working days from the activity start date. No refunds will be given once a class or program has started. Please note that online convenience fees are non-refundable.
