Description

Join the Farmers Branch Historical Park for an all-age Bird Walk. In addition to exploring the Historical Park and related areas, examining bird species and habitats, the Bird Walk also includes counting for the Great Backyard Bird Count, an annual event which helps to map the distribution and abundance of birds across the world. The Great Backyard Bird Count is February 15-18, 2019. Visit gbbc.birdcount.org for more information. Bird enthusiasts of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to participate. Guests are invited to bring binoculars, but are discouraged from bringing pets. Walk begins in the Historical Park parking lot at 9 am.
