Description: Photography II will push students beyond the basics of photography. After reviewing the key concepts from Photography I, students will explore the styles of influential photographers from the past two centuries. By exploring these various styles and the concepts behind the work of these photographers, students will begin to pinpoint their own unique styles. Students completing the course will create a unified series of photographs.Requirements: Students will be creating photographs outside of class throughout the academic year. Although camera phones are acceptable for this course, all students are strongly encouraged to use a camera with control over shutter speed and aperture. For those looking to purchase a camera, equipment will be discussed during the first two class sessions.* This course may be taken for three college credits as part of Faith Center?s partnership with Pillar College?s Dual Enrollment Education program (DEED).
