Description: 

Open to students with no prior experience. Acting techniques will be taught via theater games and improvisation exercises. Students will also have the opportunity to perform short scenes/skits. The ability to read off the written page is important for all script work (please notify the teacher if your child is not a strong reader). Students must memorize scenes in order to perform them and will be expected to work on memorization at home. A short play will be presented by this class at either the Winter Recital or the Spring Festival. Skill Day assessments will take place in May.

Please bring a folder and a pen/pencil to class.
