Description: The highest level drama course for the older student (12+) who has completed the skills taught in both Drama Workshop and Advanced Drama. Admission to this class is only through teacher recommendation or audition. Students will work on dramatic technique utilizing multiple training methods. Emphasis will be placed on advanced physical, vocal, and emotional character development. Students will be expected to select monologues/scenes based on classic works and must memorize scenes in order to perform them. This requires time spent practicing outside of the classroom. An introduction to Shakespeare will also be given. The culmination of the year's training will be presented via two one-act plays. This final performance may require additional rehearsals, and a tech week prior to the performance. Carefully check the FAITH Center calendar and your own calendar before registering. Skill Day assessments will be conducted in May.
