Description: Faith Center for the Arts offers band instruction to students of the American Christian School. Group lessons will be available on a rotating schedule for students, in fourth grade and above, who currently play an instrument or would like to begin to play an instrument. Instruction includes a group lesson and an ensemble rehearsal.

Students will be placed into teachable groups of approximately 5 students. Each lesson group will rotate their lesson time throughout the school day; students will miss a different class time each week.

Students will also receive a band rehearsal which will help them to develop their musicality and ability to play in a group. The band will perform a Christmas and a Spring Concert. ACS students are also invited to perform at the Faith Center for the Arts "Arts Festival" and the Faith Center Band Festival. Both festivals are held in the spring.



Notes:
Students are responsible to provide their own instrument. Faith Center has a partnership with the Music Den in Randolph, NJ. You may rent an instrument online from the Music Den and they will deliver the instrument to Faith Center. Click here to go to the Music Den rental site. (Type in faithctr where it says special code)
