We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Saturday, April 29, 2017.
Dungeness spit is a wonderful way to explore the coastline of Washington. The narrow strip of beach extends northeast into the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Explore Washington beaches, sea life, and possibly a old lighthouse. This National Wildlife Refuge hosts a variety of ocean life and will be a great opportunity to see beaches besides the Evergreen beach! The hike will be majority on loose sand and rock between the ocean and piles of beach logs. Bring your rain gear and expect a beautiful Washington beach trip experience. The trip could be more difficult (the full 11 miles) or more likely just a short walk down a few miles and then back to the van.
Price: $20
Pre-trip meeting attendance required on April 26th at 5:00pm in CRC 113.
