Babysitting Course

This course is designed for 11-13 year olds, helps prepare them for those first baby-sitting opportunities. Instruction includes parent and sitter responsibilities; how to perform routine care such as feeding, bathing, and diapering; major elements of home and sitter safety; basic infant/child growth and development along with appropriate activities; fire hazards and escape; how to provide minor injury treatment or handle an emergency; and practice of rescue breathing, CPR and choking procedures. Includes certificate. Please bring a lunch and snack!
