  • Picnic, indoor facility, group camping, backpacking, and horse camping reservations may be made by calling 1 (888) 327-2757 option 2, Monday through Friday 9:00 am-4:00 pm (closed holidays) to reach the Reservations Department.

*Please be advised that due to drought conditions at Lake Chabot, blue-green algae bloom may cause a noticeable odor near the Cove picnic area.* Maximum site capacity is 200. Cove has twelve 10-ft picnic tables, one 10-ft serving table, one double BBQ with shelf, six single BBQs, and one drinking fountain with a spigot. This site is mostly sunny during the day. It is located across from a large lawn area and across from outdoor gym equipment. It is the closest site to the Marina and Concession, with flush toilets 50 yards away. Parking is 200 yards away. Lawn areas, volleyball courts & horseshoe pits are not reservable. Volleyball & horseshoe equipment may be rented at the Marina concession stand ($5 + $30 refundable deposit).
