Description
DEL VALLE - Catch some cool breezes as you explore the lake the easy way - by boat! Find out about the creatures below, above, and on land. Hear the history of the dam as you cruise in comfort with an interpreter as your guide. Bring a jacket.
All children (including infants) and all non-swimming adults are required to wear a provided flotation device. Programs may be cancelled if there are five or fewer participants. See below for ticket info and fees. Boat tours meet every Saturday and Sunday from July 4 through September 6. For more information, call (510) 544-3249.

***Tickets only available first come, first served, at the east-side boat concession beginning at 6am, or at the Rocky Ridge Visitor Center after 10:30am on the day of the activity only. ****PLEASE NOTE****** FEES: Age 13 and up $5, Age 1-12 and Seniors $3, Under 1 year free if in parent's arms. All children under 13 (including infants) and all non-swimming adults will be required to wear a provided flotation device. Programs may be cancelled if there are five or fewer participants. Programs limited to 24 and filled on a first come first served basis. Additional parking fee may apply.
Del Valle Regional Park is located on Del Valle Road off Mines Road south of Livermore (parking fee). Exit I-580 eastbound or westbound in Livermore at North Livermore Avenue. Head south and proceed through town (North Livermore Avenue will become South Livermore Avenue in town). About 1.5 miles outside town, turn right at Mines Road, go about 3.5 miles and continue straight on Del Valle Road (Mines Road goes left). The park entrance is about four miles ahead.
