Veteran's Day Open House

CRAB COVE VISITOR CENTER: Join us to learn about the military history right here by the bay throughout the holiday.

10am-noon: History Walk. What?s a merchant mariner? Where?s the ?Glory of the Seas?? Where were the dirigibles tied up?

1-2pm: Help construct a wreath and place flowers on the memorial honoring those who gave their lives in service to our country.

2-3pm: Discover how to fold a flag, get knotty-learn the square knot and bowline, make red, white and blue crafts.

3-4pm Flag Retirement Ceremony - See what is done with flags that have become tattered or ripped.
