BLACK DIAMOND MINES REGIONAL PRESERVE - Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month by joining bilingual walks (in Spanish and English) at Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve to uncover?the forgotten history of the coal mines and surrounding communities.? With the help of historic photos, maps, and marks on the landscape, this 1-mile walk pieces together a past that enabled California’s rise in the global economy.?

Celebra el Mes Nacional de la Herencia Hispana participando en caminatas bilingües (en español e inglés) en la Reserva Regional Black Diamond Mines, para descubrir la historia olvidada de las minas de carbón y las comunidades cercanas. Con la ayuda de fotografías históricas, mapas y huellas en el paisaje, esta caminata de una milla reconstruye un pasado que impulsó el ascenso de California en la economía global. No se requiere inscripción. Reúnase en el estacionamiento superior. Puede aplicarse una tarifa de estacionamiento de $5 cuando haya personal en la casilla.
