Description

TILDEN - Botanically Experience California. Explore Beautiful Award-Winning Native Plant Garden, magical in Springtime. Review, refine, enhance and learn new skills on varied terrain. Connect with nature while improving confidence, pole performance, trail skills and body awareness. Hike approximately 2 miles.
*PREREQUISITE: Previous EBRPD pole hiking instruction required.

A variety of top-quality poles are provided for your use, or you may bring and use your own. If you bring your own poles, please make sure they are in working order and do not ask the instructor to repair, touch or work with them.

Approximately 5 days before the course, you will receive an email reminder from EB Parks which will include helpful and seasonal info from your instructor. If you do not see this email, please check your spam, or junk folder.

Rag to wipe poles

What to Wear
Variable weather layered clothing
Sun Protection
Hiking shoes/boots with REAL tread (not worn out)
Fingerless bike gloves (optional)
