BLACK DIAMOND MINES REGIONAL PRESERVE - What makes Black Diamond so special? The many plants and animals that call this park home! Join this guided hike to celebrate California Biodiversity Day and explore Black Diamond's variable landscape and the vast biodiversity that it supports. We will also use tools that help scientists record biodiversity...How many species will we find?! Best for ages 7+.

Come prepared for a 2-3 mile hike on uneven terrain. Wear sturdy shoes, sun protection, and bring water.

Meet in the upper parking lot, which is 1 mile past the kiosk.

$5/per vehicle parking fee applies when kiosk is attended.
