Description
DEL VALLE: In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, we invite you to discover stories from the AAPI community.
“Guan ju,” one of China’s oldest and most celebrated poems, begins by evoking a scene of an osprey calling on a river islet. “Guan guan calls the osprey.”
Ospreys are found throughout the park district, especially those that are near water as this bird’s favorite food is fish. Find out more about this and other birds in our park on a leisurely shoreline walk.
