Description
SUNOL - Celebrate your love of nature and spark your creativity with loved ones and friends during this special American Sign Language Valentine’s Edition of Paint Night at the Barn!
Join in an evening of step-by-step painting and follow along as you enjoy the beauty of nature.
Painting topic: charming winter scene/love birds

NOTE: This program has FEES
No cell service.
Welcoming the deaf community to an afternoon of art in the park!
Two sign language interpreters will be present along with the Naturalist leading the paint program.
Spark your creativity through painting and discover how East Bay parks connect us closer to nature and one another.
Tables will be set up outside with art supply stations for each participant.
Canvas, paints, brushes, palettes and chairs or picnic benches will be provided.
Feel free to bring your own comfy camp chair if you'd prefer.
Suggested to Bring: reusable mug/water bottle, warm clothing layers, drinking water, optional camp chair
Water and drinks will be provided.
From Fremont, drive north on I-680 and exit at Calaveras Road (near the town of Sunol.)
Turn right at the exit onto Calaveras Road and proceed about four miles to a left turn onto Geary Road, which leads directly into the park.
(If you find yourself driving uphill on a narrow winding road you’ve missed the Geary Road turnoff.)??
To reach the visitor center take the first left after the park entrance.?
From the Oakland-Berkeley area, drive east on I-580 to the junction with I-680. Take I-680 south and exit at Calaveras Road/Highway 84 just south of the Sunol exit.
At the bottom of the exit, turn left onto Calaveras Road and proceed as noted above.
