Close Focus: Ferns and Winter Blooms

REINHARDT REDWOOD REGIOANL PARK (WAYSIDE PARKING AREA): We will bring our finely attuned skills of observation and appreciation as well as our magnifying lenses to examine the complex and varied life of mosses, lichens, liverworts and ferns. If we are lucky, we may see the rare and glorious western leatherwood in bloom. The Bird Loop is a short trail with a lot to offer. About 2.5 miles.

It could be wet and slippery, so bring your best footwear and dress for the weather!
