Description
DEL VALLE: As summer turns to fall, these amazing arachnids long for love. Join us on Friday the 13th to learn about our fuzzy friends roving for romance, then go on a short trek to try and find them.
English/Spanish, Bilingual Program.
4-5:30pm, Friday, October 13th
Registration Required
This program will include information about tarantulas and additional recommendations for where you could try and see them in the park.
Meeting at the top of the hill, before the kiosk, at the gate to the East Ridge Trailhead.
Bring a flashlight, since these critters love to come out right around dusk. Be wilderness ready - there is no phone service at the park.
Park on the side of the road, look out for 'No Parking' signs.
Adult Participation Required.
