THURGOOD MARSHALL REGIONAL PARK - In honor of the end of World War II in Europe on May 8, 1945, join East Bay Regional Park District and National Park Service staff on a walk at the future Thurgood Marshall Regional Park; Home of the Port Chicago 50. Celebrate stories of the dedicated service members who worked at Port Chicago Naval Magazine and explore the lasting social impact of WWII. Come ready for a mostly paved 2-mile hike.

Please be careful pulling into the park from Bailey Road. Bring water and lunch, Dress for full sun and warm weather. Restrooms available.
