Biography:Courtney Lucas is an educator and performance artist in Columbus, Ohio. Originally from Hampton Roads, Virginia, Courtney competed nationally in contemporary and jazz dance and received classical training at Virginia Ballet Theatre and Eastern Virginia School for the Performing Arts. She received her B.F.A in Dance at The Ohio State University with a focus in Dance and Technology, and studied under the guidance of Bebe Miller, Noa Zuk, Abigail Yager, and Abby Zbikowski. Courtney danced for New Vision Dance Company from 2015-2017, and continues to present choreographic work within the Columbus community. Courtney teaches a range of levels and styles at Dublin Dance Centre & Gymnastics, where she also acts as Co-Education Director and Director of Repertory Company. She lives in Clintonville and enjoys backyard gardening with her husband and two Italian Greyhounds. This is her eighth season with DDC&G.
