Description: This park is located on the north side of Des Moines with an enclosed shelter that is rentable year around and is equipped with heat and air conditioning. This shelter holds up to 100 people, is handicap accessible and has several electrical outlets inside the shelter. It has 24 rectangular tables that measure 58 X 30, 81 stackable chairs and 10 rectangular benches. It has a nice serving counter with 2 sinks and a men's and women's restroom inside the shelter. There is also a playground and a large open area close to the shelter. This shelter is located near the Des Moines river. Alcohol is allowed, however no glass and no kegs are allowed. Canned beer only. This shelter is rentable year around. Rental Fees for this shelter: Monday - Thursday $200 from 10 am - 9 pm; Friday - Sunday and Holidays $300 from 10 am - 9 pm.
