New drum class with a focus on playing along to music by taking time to learn the dynamics of song structures and tuning into the rhythm of the melody.
This class will feel more like a one-on-one private lesson. It is a max of 4 students, giving each student ample time to learn more complex beats.
Please bring a set of Drum Sticks.
Biography:Alice has always enjoyed music, both listening and playing! From elementary through high school, Alice played clarinet and became interested in other instruments particulary drums. Uncertain of what others might think about a girl learning to play a "boys" instrument, Alice decided to learn, but did not make a big deal, of playing drums. However, it became a big deal for her age 12, and even today she is still learning. Alice has played at church services, special events and was part of the all-girl Christian band that played at events such as Women's Conventions. Alice has also taught music classes at the Salivation Army in Cathedral City.
