Description:
In this intermediate Horseback riding program students will work to become proficient in saddling and bridleing their horse. Students will also work on being able trot their horses will, including posting. Posting is to rise out of the saddle seat for every other stride of the horse's forelegs. A posting trot helps the rider to be able to follow the horse's movement and also learn how to flow together in the same rhythm. Doing a posting trot helps to keep both horse and rider more comfortable while riding. Students should already be able to steer and stop their horses without any help. Students should feel comfortable while riding a horse unattended.
