Description
The ELDOA Method is a revolutionary technique developed by the late world-renowned Dr. Guy Voyer, DO. ELDOA, a French acronym meaning “Longitudinal Osteo-Articular Decompression Stretches”, is an effective approach to improving spinal health and joint function. It involves a series of postures and stretches designed to create space within specific joints, alleviate compression and pain, improve posture and muscle tone, and promote overall vitality. This method has gained widespread recognition for its effectiveness in enhancing flexibility, alleviating pain, and increasing wellbeing and body awareness.
The instructor will incorporate other modalities that are part of the Soma Training program, including Global Postural Stretching, Proprioception and Myofascial Stretching.
In each 5-week session, we will address the joints of the spine, shoulders, hips and ribcage; Participants should be well hydrated to participate. Bring your own mat, towel and water.
