Please Note: this registration page is for organizations and City partners who wish to have a booth at the Volunteer Fair. The event is free and open to the public.

The 2022 Cupertino Volunteer Fair would like to showcase the numerous volunteer organizations that dedicate their time and services to improving our society. We want community members both in Cupertino and surrounding areas to have the chance to see what volunteer opportunities are available to them. Whether it is a retired individual seeking to dedicate their time to a greater purpose, a high-school student needing to complete service credit, or any individual seeking to better enrich their lives through volunteering, the Cupertino Volunteer Fair will match volunteers with opportunities at local organizations. This year the event will be held on Saturday, October 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Cupertino Civic Center Plaza.

We are hoping to see a variety of attendees from varying ages, backgrounds, and demographics. The City welcomes organizations to share their potential volunteer, internship, and program opportunities. Based on previous years, it would be helpful to have some materials available in Chinese or other applicable languages for attendees who speak English as their second language.

Volunteer Partner Rules and Regulations

Applies to all booth participants

  1. Festival is held rain or shine. Refunds will be granted upon request for booth registration cancellations if received prior to Thursday, September 22. Refunds request received after Thursday, September 22 will not be refundable. Refunds must be requested, in writing, to refunds@cupertino.org and danielm@cupertino.org.
  2. The City of Cupertino reserves the right to determine whether any organization is eligible for inclusion in the Fair. This determination may be made at any time before or after registration. A full refund will be issued if registration is not accepted.
  3. A standard partner booth consists of a 10x10 space with:
    • One 6’ x 30” table and two chairs
    • Canopies or umbrellas are NOT provided. Please bring your own canopy. All canopies/ tents must be secured.
    • Electricity Access will NOT be provided to abate safety concerns.
    • If you require more space, please e-mail DanielM@cupertino.org.
  4. The City does NOT provide insurance for event participants. Tabling partners are responsible for carrying their own coverage.
  5. All Volunteer Fair participants must sign a Waiver and Release agreeing to hold harmless the City, its officers, officials, employees, and volunteers from and against and claims, loss, liability, demands, damage, and expense to the extent arising from this year’s 2022 Cupertino Volunteer Fair offered by the City of Cupertino. This waiver will be part of the registration process, but all Volunteer Fair participants and tabling staff must sign this form.
  6. Partners are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and keep the following in mind:
    • Each tabling partner is responsible for their booth and all items in it.
    • Registration and arrival is between 8:30am-9:30am. Booths must be ready to open by 10:00am.
    • No plastic bags may be given out.
    • Partners must recycle and compost applicable waste from their booths.
  7. Comply with rules & regulations of the City of Cupertino­ including parking.
