Description
This American Red Cross course is a combination of Lifeguard Training, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Administering Emergency Oxygen and First Aid for Public Safety Personnel (Title 22). This complete course provides all certifications necessary to obtain employment as a lifeguard in the State of California.
Prerequisites: The required swimming skills include 200 yards continuously swimming (8 laps), tread water for 2 minutes without hands, and perform a 20-yard swim and 10 lb. brick retrieval in 7 feet of water. (Must be 15 years old by the last day of class.)*This class requires 7 hours of online course work before the first day of class. One week before the class you will be emailed the pre-course login information.

This class requires 7 hours of online course work before the first day of class. Pre-requisites: be able to swim 200 yards continuously, tread water for 2 minutes without using arms, and perform a 20-yard swim, diving 7-ft to retrieve a 10lbs brick. Online course will be emailed out one week before the class starts.
