CAPE ClassesSpring 2017|#5424
Description
The NEIU Community Chorus rehearses in tandem with the University Chorus on Tuesday evenings from 7:05-9:45 pm in Fine Arts - 144. The chorus sings music from the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Twentieth Century music epochs as well as some popular and modern music. The chorus performs both large choral/symphonic works as well as music that is from the a cappella tradition. Although experience reading music is helpful, it is not required. The chorus performs up to twice per semester and frequently collaborates with professional ensembles in the Chicago music community. Questions or emails of interest can be went to Dr. Christopher Owen, Director of Choral Activities, at csowen@neiu.edu.
