**This class is held at the Aquatic Center Classroom**

This course is designed to be fun and interactive while meeting the standards and OSHA guidelines. An experienced local instructor will guide you through five hours of hands on training . Completion of this course will provide you with a two year certification.

First Aid, CPR and AED is an instructor led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency, until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as: how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. This course also teaches adult CPR and AED use.

This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training that needs to complete and first aid, CPR and AED course to meet job, regulatory or other requirements. Physical participation of skills training is required in order to pass course. Competent completion of this course earns the student a 2 year certification card. This course is not a healthcare provider level class. CPR cards can take up to a month to be processed and received, please account for this time in your plans, thank you .
