Simple balance and light muscle strengthening activities. Improve your stamina, strength, mobility and balance. Modifications are offered to allow anyone, no matter what your fitness level or limitations are, to enjoy the same workout, and to ensure proper form to prevent injury. Learn strategies to reduce your risk for falling while increasing your activity level. All fitness levels welcome. Equipment needed: sturdy chair without wheels and light weights.
Need 12 people in order for the class to run. Please add to the waitlist and if we have enough to run this class, you’ll be notified to pay for the class with the zoom link. If we don’t have enough people to run the class, you’ll be notified as well.
Classes will be hosted via Zoom live. You will need access to an internet connection with a computer/laptop/iPad/iPhone/Android to view the fitness class. Download the ZOOM app or go to https://zoom.us/. You’ll be prompted to sign up, which is free but not required.
You’ll receive a link to join the fitness class via email. Please keep an eye out on your email before every class for a new link. Please stay muted during the session.
Substitute weights for resistance bands, soup cans, milk jugs, laundry soap, etc.
