You will need the free Zoom app to attend. The morning of the event, you will receive an email with your Zoom meeting link. Please make sure your current email address is updated in our system when you register.

Join us for a virtual tour of the night sky. The Heart of
the Valley Astronomers Club will be remotely controlling a telescope in
New Mexico. The telescope has a camera that can take picture of all
sorts of galaxies, nebula, star cluster and comets and show them to you
in real time. They will be imaging a number of their favorite objects
and will be happy to take pictures of any of your suggestions. Starting
at 8:45 there will be a brief presentation on what a virtual star party
is all about and then the imaging will begin!


Emails with class links are sent prior to the event. If you have registered after 8:30am on Friday, links will not be automatically sent until the following week. You can email teri.omalley@corvallisoregon.gov or call 541-766-6959 for your link during office hours on Friday if you register after 8:30am. Registration deadline is 3pm the day of the event.
