Virtual Star Party - Sept 24

Join us for a virtual tour of the night sky. The Heart of
the Valley Astronomers Club will be remotely controlling a telescope in
New Mexico. The telescope has a camera that can take picture of all
sorts of galaxies, nebula, star cluster and comets and show them to you
in real time. They will be imaging a number of their favorite objects
and will be happy to take pictures of any of your suggestions. There will be a brief presentation on what a virtual star party is all about and then the imaging will begin!

Emails with class links are sent the morning of the event. Call 541-766-6959 for your link during office hours on Friday if you register after 8:30am. Online registration deadline is 8am the day of the event.
