Description
The class aims to give newcomers an overview of painting miniature figures for games like Dungeons & Dragons and Warhammer. It will start with the basics -- how to select paints and supplies, how to prepare your miniature, etc. After that students will go through the basic painting process step by step, starting with base coats and exploring additional techniques such as shading and drybrushing as time allows.
Students are invited to bring a miniature to work on, such as a character for their D&D campaign, but the instructor will be able to provide one figure per student as well. Students may find it prudent to work on two figures at the same time, so they can have something to work on while the paint is drying on the other figure. Other materials such as paints, brushes, paper towels, and water cups will be provided by the instructor.
