Description

Join Artist Christine D'Epiro Abbott for a one day workshop introducing participants to creating monotype prints and using the printmaking presses. As time permits, stencils and chine-collé (collage) techniques will be presented.

Students will learn how to set the press pressure, create a monotype image with Akua inks and print the image. Students can develop their own imagery or use stencils to get image started. Students will be able to print one to four, 12 in x 9 in prints depending on background knowledge and complexity of prints. Prints are perfect for the gift giving season! All materials provided, just bring an apron with pockets.
