Description

The FIRST LEGO League is an international competition organized by FIRST for elementary and middle school students. Each year in Aug., FIRST LEGO League Challenge teams are introduced to a scientific and real-world challenge for teams to focus and research on for the school year. The robotics part of the competition involves designing and programming LEGO Education SPIKE robots to complete tasks. The students work out a solution to a problem related to the theme, which changes every year, and then meet for regional, national, and international tournaments to compete, share their knowledge, compare ideas, and display their robots. Snapology and FIRST LEGO League are designed to get children excited about science and technology, and teach them valuable employment and life skills while growing social skills. Students work on teams and learn about FIRTS’s Core Values of discovery, innovation, impact, teamwork, inclusion, and fun. Teams are even scored on their Gracious Professionalism during games. For more information, or to register, please visit www.snapology.com. No class Feb. 15 and Mar. 15.
