(PLEASE NOTE: Upon enrollment into the first semester, participants will also be automatically enrolled in the second semester. The enrollment office will register and bill students for both semesters during their initial registration. Students can discontinue at semester break if needed.)

The J@MS program is a weekly half-day immersion for students ages 12-18, concentrating on skills, knowledge, and experience to achieve musical goals. Musicians enrolled in the Package Program receive History of African-American Music, Theory and Improvisation, Small Combo, and Large Ensemble (Big Band).

In the J@MS Ensembles, musicians will explore a range of advanced and challenging material under the direction of our highly professional faculty. (Musicians will be placed in ensembles based upon their level of experience.) These ensembles are often selected to perform in adjudicated events, workshops and concerts throughout the year, gaining valuable performing experience in a high-level context.
