ArtS-N-Play, co-led by an Early Childhood teacher and a Board Certified Music Therapist, offers twice weekly group play experiences designed to provide developmentally appropriate opportunities to strengthen behavioral, social and communication skills. The curriculum is also designed to develop and support concepts in a classroom setting. The program's unique music therapy component reinforces the curriculum and skills through prescriptively designed music therapy interventions.
Criteria for acceptance include identification of a special need, provision of an IEP or professional evaluation(s), and completion of an initial assessment with our staff. Children with special needs will have opportunities to bridge with peers who are typically developing. Returning students can register online. Financial aid available to qualified applicants.
