J@MS (Jazz at The Music Settlement)

Ensemble only option: $450

J@MS is a weekly half-day immersion program for students that immerses them in the energy and excitement of Jazz music. Musicians enrolled in the full program take part in History of African American Music, Theory and Improvisation, Small combo, and Large Ensemble (Big Band). Musicians will explore a range of inspiring and challenging material under the direction of our professional faculty. Students gain valuable performance experience throughout the year at concerts and special events.

Prerequisite: Placement audition required.
