North Coast Winds Virtual Summer Institute
Camps2021 Fiscal Year - FY21 (Camps 2020)|#10251
Description
Join the North Coast Winds, Cleveland's premier professional woodwind quintet, for an interactive and fun week of virtual woodwind instruction and chamber music! Open to flute, oboe, B-flat clarinet, French horn, and bassoon students.
In this new, completely virtual format, campers will participate in scheduled activities that will include daily warm-ups, private lessons, staff coached sectionals, and our signature “Spotlight Hour” to engage in fun, broader musical topics. Taking a new approach to collaborative music making, students will form small ensembles and record a piece together using the latest technology. Pieces will be presented during the Friday “Lunch and Listen” virtual concert, open to family and friends.
Campers must have the following technological capabilities:
A laptop, tablet, or desktop that has a reliable internet connection (ethernet connection recommended)
Access to the video platform Zoom (Camp director will specify if other platforms are necessary.)
Earbuds or headphones (Bluetooth recommended)
USB microphone (if accessible)
