Description: This course will look at different styles seen in Manga drawing. We will go over proportions and create various sketches to use as references when creating characters including body types, hair styles, and eyes. Additionally, the course will look at its history and the different types of characters often seen in Manga. The course is designed for beginning and intermediate drawing students since we will be looking at basic figure drawing principles and how to appropriately break down the human form before starting on different steps and styles associated with Manga characters. Any level of drawing experience is welcome!

This is a distance learning class that meets in the comfort of your own home through Zoom. Your Zoom class link will be emailed to you prior to the start of your class. Please make sure the student's email is correct when registering.
