Mac’s Shack has seen recent improvements, making it an even more desirable location for your next event. It’s only a short walk from Roosevelt Hill and is just off the main road. The shack features a newly installed deck and ramp, beautifully manicured flower beds and landscaping, A/C, and a full kitchen — including a fridge, stove, sink, and counterspace. Richmond Parks and Rec hopes to install at least one bathroom in the interior of the shack in the near future, but for now, the men’s and women’s restrooms are both located on the exterior of the shack. Mac’s Shack offers tables and chairs for your use. Outside, there are a few picnic tables and a grill. There is also parking, which is great for gatherings.
