Badminton is a game similar to tennis, using rackets to strike a shuttlecock back and forth across a 5’ high net. 4 courts are available for indoor play. Bring the whole family! This drop-in Badminton program is offered in partnership with the Gallop Badminton Club, which is organized under the GSA (Graduate Student Association) of the University of Nevada, Reno to bring together the badminton enthusiasts. Community members are encouraged to drop-in and play, and if they like it join the Badminton Club which provides shuttlecocks for their members. Brenda Lee-On site is available to answer any questions concerning the Gallop Badminton club for individuals interested. A limited supply of badminton rackets is available for beginners, but individuals are encouraged to come with their own racket.
