Are you fascinated by bugs? Discover what it means to be an entomologist and learn about the difference between true bugs and insects (yes, there is a difference!) Kits come with an instruction packet that will teach basics concepts in entomology (insect science) and walk participants through each activity.
The LIVE virtual class will be held on on Friday, 3/12 from 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. and will be hosted through Zoom. A link will be sent by email prior to the start of the class. Session will be 1.5 hrs (with a 10 minute break).
The virtual portion of the program will be hosted through Zoom. A link will be e-mailed to participants prior to the meeting. A nonrefundable fee will be charged for each financial transaction processed through ACTIVE Net software system. The fee will be charged as a tax to all customers registering for fee based programs or facility rentals. This fee does not apply to free programs, donations or financial transactions processed through Provenue software.
Refund Policy: Refunds and transfers for classes will be issued in full if requested prior to the start date. After the first class and prior to the second class, refunds will be issued, minus the non-refundable $10 application fee. After the second class date, no refunds will be issued. Refund/Credits will not be issued for unattended classes. If the City must cancel a class date, a make-up date will be scheduled. All classes must meet the required minimum participation or the class may be cancelled. If a material fee is required, it is payable to the instructor at the first class and is non-refundable. Refunds will be issued as payment was received; Cash and Check will be received as a City issued check please allow 3-4 weeks for processing.
