CC - Let's Talk About It

The goal of this class is to educate students about mental health and the affects that a person's view of self contributes to not only their success in school but in life. Through inspirational and tactical content, the activities we provide are designed to improve self-awareness, increase self-esteem, provide techniques to efficiently set and accomplish goals, equip students with new ways to cope with life stressors and alleviate depression, while reinforcing positive pro-social skills in a group environment. Each class combines a lecture, group discussion, and interactive activity, to ensure the best retention outcome. Girls Gossip and Women Network, LLC workshops teach the value of breaking unhealthy social, emotional, cultural and family norms to live a fulfilled life.
