Maricopa Connected: City of Maricopa partners with televëda to provide online recreational programs to improve the lives of adults 55+
Stay at home, play at home, be fit at home! On September 14, 2020, the City of Maricopa will launch “Maricopa Connected,” a virtual recreation center with a full calendar of live programs for adults 55+. Maricopa Connected will be the active adult community’s virtual epicenter for fun, education and resources.
To participate in classes, residents simply register for a membership with Maricopa Connected for $12 per month and access as many classes as they want. Classes range from Tai Chi, brain games, chair yoga, movement with music, Bingo, Karaoke, museum tours, university lectures, dance and more! Residents can easily connect to the online community and once in the virtual classroom, participants can see, hear and talk to the instructor and their fellow classmates and ultimately begin forming personal relationships.
