Free to Members GRP X - META Copa Training with Esther. Class will be held in Studio A. Reservations will be available beginning at 5AM the day PRIOR to class. Reserve your spot online, in person, or over the phone by calling the service desk. If you want a class that you can torch calories, get lean and build strength all at the same time, this class is for you!!! This metabolic training class is geared to do just that. Metabolic Training is a workout that involves a series of compound movements that uses multiple muscle groups during the class session to provide the proper stimulus to reset your metabolism. Allowing better utilization of muscle stimulation for growth of lean muscle tissue and fat utilization for overall better fat loss. Resetting your metabolism will allow you to burn fat and calories more efficiently at rest due to that you can continue to burn for many hours after your workout is done. This is done via various formats such as interval training, functional training and traditional strength training. This class will use your own body weight, dumbbells, barbells, step, indoor track and other methods to achieve results. First half of the class will be based on cardiovascular metabolic training and the last half on functional/traditional strength training. Tuesdays being lower body/core focused and Thursdays being upper body/core focused. Doing this type of training two times a week is essential for achieving these types of results. All levels are welcome. Modifications will be shown as well. Let’s do this!
