Description:
A fun hands-on community education program for youth ages 11-16 years. This class will help babysitters become better prepared by practicing infant skills on dolls and learn and practice CPR for infants and children. Topics include: babysitter responsibilities, sitter safety, diapering procedures, recognizing an emergency, and basic first aid. Participants receive a booklet from the American Safety & Health Institute, babysitter certificate and starter first aid kit. This one-day class is taught by Sue Lockhart who has been training babysitters in San Diego for over 20 years.
Bring pen or pencil, paper, snack, lunch and water bottle to class.

Enroll early! Activities with insufficient enrollment will be cancelled and payments returned.One week prior to the first class, customer may request a change, transfer or refund. A $10 processing fee (per person, per enrollment) will be deducted.
Except as otherwise provided in this policy, if a registrant fails to attend a program after it begins, the registrant is not entitled to a refund. Exceptions may be authorized by the Recreation Supervisor. A doctor's note or written request describing the extenuating circumstances must be submitted to the Community Service Department..
