Description
Valley Park Day Camp is a program for children ages 6-13. Day campers participate in a variety of activities that are fun, safe and educational. Sports, drama, cooperative games, crafts, beach activities and off-site excursions encourage social, physical and creative development. An enthusiastic leadership staff of experienced camp counselors supervises all activities. Counselor to camper ratio is 1:10.
Participants must be 6 years of age prior to registration.
Drop off is between 8-9am and pickup is between 3-4pm.
Typical schedule of weekly activities:
Mondays: Activities at the park.
Tuesdays: Walk to and from the beach.
Wednesdays: Off site Excursion. This week's is Leeway Sailing Center. Campers are required to wear their Valley Park Day Camp t-shirt. Children must be sign in by 8:45am as the bus leaves promptly at 9am. Transportation is provided by a certified Charter Bus Company.
Thursdays: Walk to and from the beach.
Fridays: Activities at the park. Potluck lunch.
