Answers to FAQs For Online Registration Customers

Q: What is Activenet?
A: Activinet is the reservation and registration software used by Goodlettsville Parks and Recreation that allows you to make reservation requests or enroll in programs and activities 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Q: What browser should I use for Activenet?
A: Activenet was designed to be used with Internet Explorer; however, you should be able to use almost any common internet browser when using Activenet (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.)
Q: How do I create a Customer Account?
A: Before registering for any activities or requesting reservations for a facility, you must have a Customer Account with a Login Name and a Password.

1. Click on the Create An Account button.

2. Fill out the form for a New Account completely, including all required fields and click submit.
Q: What are the setup requirements for my Activenet password?
A: Passwords must be at least 8 characters long, with at least 1 letter and 1 number.
Q: What should I do if I forget my login or password?
A: If you forget your login or password, click the button and an email will be sent to reset.
Q: Can I view activities without signing in?
A: You can browse through activities without signing in. Click the Activities button and look at all of the Activities offered. Click the Activity name for more details on an activity.
Q: Some of the information in my account is incorrect. Why is this and how can I change what is listed?
A: In some cases when information was not available, staff may have entered a default answer (such as birthday January 1, 1900) or made an educated guess. Give us a call at 615-851-2200 and we will make changes to correct your account information.
Q: How do I register for an Activity?
A: Once your account has been established, registration for Activities is easy:
1. Click the Activities button on the registration home page.
2. Select the Activity that you would like to enroll into. Clicking the underlined name will show you a detailed Activity description.
3. Click the Add to Cart button if you wish to register for the activity.
4. Next, sign into your online registration account by entering your Login Name and Password. Proceed to checkout by clicking the Continue button.
From this screen, you may remove Activities from your cart or view more Activities and add them to your cart.
*Please Note: If more than one family member will be attending the activity, click on the button labeled, Add Another Participant. Not all activities will allow multi-person registration. For these activities, each person will need to login to their account to register.
5. Confirm your Activity name, date and time, enrollee, and price.
6. Click Continue to proceed with payment (if applicable). You will be prompted that you are entering a secure site. Enter your credit card information on the payment information page and read and agree to any required waiver(s) and confirm payer meets the requirement of "13 years or older". Click Continue. This system accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
7. Once your payment has been approved, your receipt will display.
Q: How can I view a schedule of my upcoming registered Activities?
A: The My Account feature allows you to view a weekly schedule of your family's upcoming Activities.

Sign into your account and click on the My Account link. Then click on Show Your Daily Schedule.
Q: Why does my online reservation require approval?
A: All requests for reservations made online are reviewed by staff members to ensure that you have chosen a facility that will best meet your needs for the purpose of your rental and to make sure we do not have any further questions about your reservation.
Q: What is a Processing Fee?
A: A Processing Fee is a small convenience charge associated with online credit card transactions. This fee is typical for sales processed via the Internet and is charged by our software provider. Goodlettsville Parks and Recreation does not keep this fee. The fee is collected by our software provider to cover costs such as: software licensing, PCI compliance, and standard credit card processing charges. The amount of fee is based on the transaction subtotal amount.
Q: How can I avoid the Processing Fee?
A: Activities that are at no cost do not have this fee. Only transactions that involve payment with a credit card are charged this fee. To avoid a processing fee, register or reserve in person at City Hall through the Customer Service Center, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
Q: Can I view my transaction history and print out my past receipts?
A: You can view your Activenet transaction history and print your receipts by clicking on the My Account link located at the top right of the screen.

To view transactions, click on the List of Prior Transactions Link.

To view receipts, clink on the List of Account Payments link.
Q: What if I don't have an email address?
A: If you do not have an email address, you may go to the Customer Service Center at City Hall Monday - Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm for an account to be setup in person.
Q: What if I don't have a computer?
A: Activenet can be accessed from anywhere, including public libraries. You can also visit our Customer Service Center in Goodlettsville City Hall, Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
Q: What if I don't want to use Activenet to register?
A: All reservation and registration activities take place through Activenet. If you want to make a reservation request or sign up for an activity, activenet will be used. We can help you, if needed, at the Customer Service Center at Goodlettsville City Hall.
