Description:
Graphic novels are exploding in popularity and for good reason! Graphic novels are great for reluctant readers and kids just learning to read. They can also positively impact children's visual literacy skills, which are more important than ever in the digital age. Participants will look at examples of graphic novels and learn how to create their own!
Learning Objective: Participants will learn and practice basic cartooning and drawing elements found in graphic novels.
