Description: 

Scouts dive into the world of Robotics in this 3 hour workshop! They will learn how to program robots, use different types of sensors to make the robot perform tasks, and ultimately attempt to get their robot to complete several challenges.

If a Boy Scout is taking the class to work towards earning his/her Robotics Merit Badge, we will be covering requirements #4 & #5 for that badge. Scouts can bring their blue card and have those requirements signed off by our Merit Badge Counselors. If a completed Robotics Merit Badge workbook is brought to class by the scout, the rest of the requirements (1,2,3 and 6) can also be signed off.


REFUND POLICY: The City of Downey will issue a refund, less 30% for processing, if a refund request is made prior to the first class date.
